Reduce Your Healthcare Costs
Companies continue to face rising healthcare costs and continue to search for meaningful ways to confront the root cause affecting claims cost. Professional Fitness, an Indianapolis-based health organization, targets the professional/corporate market and achieves meaningful reduction in healthcare costs for their clients.
Professional Fitness reduces claim costs by enhancing the health of a company's employee base. This health enhancement process actually shifts the statical curve of the population downward and results in fewer claims and claims of less severity. The company's healthcare costs reflect this savings.
The Professional Fitness Approach
Employees meet for individual health evaluations with a clinically trained professional staff member. During this face-to-face meeting, a medical history and physical assessment are conducted, while establishing the employee's health goals. An individual collective summary of risk factors is assembled and the baseline summary of all measurements are specified. This hands-on, applied approach is the proven model of effective intervention.
Health prescriptions for each employee are developed and goal statements defined in clinical terms. We focus on increasing energy, range of motion and overall personal well being, by enhancing core characteristics of human physical performance. Through muscular strength and endurance, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility and nutritional training programs we are able to establish these goals for each employee.
Summary level reporting details the percentage of the workforce participation in the health enhancement program and statistically measures and reports the changes that accrue in your employee population. Reporting at the summary level protects employee confidentiality while still statistically measuring results that affect employer healthcare costs.
